Joseph Besse's 1753 account of the Sufferings o/the People called Quakers is an invaluable primary source for genealogists and historians, but few have access to the complete original. So The Sessions Book Trust has undertaken a complete series of regional facsimiles, with new Indexes. The eight volumes produced so far are: a) Yorkshire (1998), b) Other parts of North England including Isle of Man (2000), c) Maryland, New England and West Indies (2001), d) London and Middlesex (2002), e) Ireland, Scotland and Wales (2003), f) SouthWest England (2004) and g) Southern England (2006).
